We all know what alcoholism is, but how does it start? What turns someone from an occasional drinker to a full-blown alcohol addict? Unfortunately, the answer quite complicated. Alcoholism is caused by a combination of genetic, environmental, psychological and social factors. The more risk factors exhibited by a person, the more likely they are to become an alcoholic.
